Evangelism

Everything that we do at Calvary Chapel Saint Paul is for the purpose of leading people to Jesus Christ.

Personal Witness Training

We here at Calvary Chapel Saint Paul want to follow the example of the early church–that every believer was a Personal Witness for Jesus Christ and God added daily to the church those being saved (Acts 2:47). Personal Witness Training equips believers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Training classes will start on Sunday January 7 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Sojourners Cafe, 1406 White Bear Ave, St Paul, MN 55106

Pastor Chik will be leading this training. Sign up and reserve your spot with Pastor Chik

The responsibility to spread the gospel is to be shared by all believers. It is with this understanding that some times believers will not share their faith, not because they do not want to, but on the contrary, they might not feel prepared or fully equipped to do so.

PWT is an opportunity to get equipped to share your faith in Jesus Christ. It is an easy to use and understand approach to sharing the gospel. It’s not based on rote memorization, but total recall of what you see right in front of you.

There are many fine programs out there to assist us with the great commission, and PWT is just one of them. Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. PWT is a life style and friendship evangelism approach to sharing the saving faith of Jesus. It is therefore our desire to see as many believers equipped for life to proclaim the good news, and by attending this class, it is a deeply held belief and conviction that you will be better prepared. 2 Timothy 4:2 says, Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season.

Cost of materials is $15. For those who have been through PWT before, Refresher attendance is $5 if you still have your work book.

This will be led by Pastor Chik Chikeles. Minimum age is 12 years old.Time is 5-6pm, in the Mint-Mocha room at Sojourner’s Café.

“Brother Andrew” Cards

In the Bible, we see that two of Jesus’ closest disciples were brought to Him by a close relative. This includes perhaps the best-known disciple, Simon Peter, who was brought to Jesus by his brother, Andrew. Andrew had a radical encounter with the Lord, and sought to share the good news with his family. Our friends and family need to know the love of Jesus. Would you commit to praying for your friends and family that don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus? Will you pray about who God wants you to bring to church? You can download a “Brother Andrew” card below, or grab one at church, and write in the names of those that God has placed on your heart. It will serve as a reminder during your prayer time and throughout your day.

God’s Not Broke!

God’s Not Broke is an opportunity for our church body to share God’s love through food, music and fellowship–all on God’s tab! Contrary to popular opinion, God is not on life support! He does not need your money to accomplish His purposes. As the Bible says:

“…for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills…for the world is mine, and all that is in it.”-Psalm 50:10,12

Between May and September our fellowship may hold God’s Not Broke events at different parks throughout Saint Paul. Keep an eye on the church calendar for details of any upcoming events.

Thursday Community Suppers

During the summer months, our church spends Thursday nights (4:30 – 7:00 pm) at Como Park in Saint Paul. We share the love of Jesus Christ with our neighbors. Come and join us as we feed people into the Kingdom of God! Regular service begins at 7:00 pm.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace. -Acts 20:24
