CKC: Calvary Kids’ Club

CKC is at the same time as regular Thursday night service – 7 pm. There is only one service time on Thursdays. CKC is run during the school year and is a way for children to come together and have the Bible taught to them at their level. We also sing, memorize verses, and have a fun time!

DGP: Discovering God’s Path

Running June through September. During this time Thursday nights will only have one service starting at 7 pm. DGP is a summer children’s ministry, going through the Bible in a study taught at their level of understanding, and singing the same worship songs that are sung in the main service!

Sunday Children’s’ Ministry

Every Sunday during each service, kids get to go through the bible in a study taught at their level of understanding and sing the same worship songs that are sung in the main service.

Nursery Ministry

Nursery is currently being held on Sundays and Thursdays based on servant availability. If you have an infant and there is no Nursery available, please sit in the back of the sanctuary during service, or in the overflow room next to the sanctuary if your baby becomes noisy. This is to keep the sanctuary quiet and distraction-free, so that the attendees can participate in worship and teaching in the best possible environment.

AGES

Vision

What About The Children?

Jesus said “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14) The Bible clearly teaches that God loves children and He is concerned with their welfare. It is His desire that they would grow in knowledge of Him.

Whose responsibility is it to see that they grow?

God has ordained the church into existence, yet He has commanded the parents to be responsible for their childrens’ growth. It is they who will have to, one day, give an account for how well they handled the task. Calvary Chapel realizes that this is a hard job, but we are committed to coming alongside parents in training their children. This is why we have made great efforts in: locating good teaching tools, and providing nurturing, loving teachers with adequate facilities. We want to provide a place where children can worship and learn about the Lord.

What about children in the sanctuary during the service?

We feel that the best way we can serve the whole family is by providing a good quality childrens’ ministry – one which teaches them at a level that they can more easily understand. At the same time, it provides a setting where the adults can worship the Lord and have time to learn without distraction, so that they may better raise their children. For this reason, we have set up the childrens’ ministry.

Calvary Chapel of Saint Paul’s Children’s Ministry –

We have set up a solid children’s ministry for kids from the time they are potty trained until age 12.

It is our policy and practice at this time, that children 10 and younger attend the children’s ministry on Sundays and Thursdays; children 11 years old can choose to participate in either the sanctuary or children’s ministry on Sundays, and children 12 and older can choose to participate in either the sanctuary or children’s ministry on Thursdays. It is also our belief and practice that young men and women age 16 and older are adults, and as such should attend the adult’s services and be encouraged to join in and participate in the men’s and women’s ministries.

Our Committment –

We are firmly committed to helping families grow in their knowledge of the Lord by providing the direction, encouragement, tools and help for parents in their role of raising their children for Jesus. The position of Calvary Chapel is to assist parents in raising their children in the Lord, not to replace them.

May God richly bless you as you pray about our desire and direction for the children’s ministry here at Calvary Chapel. Finally, we ask that you pray and ask God what role you can have in this ministry to the young.

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’” – Matthew 19:14
