Intern Program
Discover, Develop, & Serve in the Body of Christ
The Calvary Chapel Saint Paul Intern Program is a 12-month servant discipleship program led by Pastor Chik. It is designed to give you Bible-based teaching and hands-on experience in learning how to serve in the Body of Christ. This in-depth program will give you the opportunity to:
Discover your spiritual gifts and calling
Become equipped and developed for that calling
Gain a practical understanding of how ministry is accomplished in our church, and become prepared for pitfalls of ministry
And most importantly, grow in your knowledge and service in the Lord
Those interested in attending the Interns Program must RSVP. Please email the church at ccsp@ccsaintpaul.org
Class Time and Details
All interns will attend a general meeting monthly, for class-wide instruction and fellowship.
These classes will be held from 7pm to 9pm once a month. For the months of January and May through December, the class date will be the 1st Tuesday of the month. During the months where Women’s Fellowship meetings are held, February through April, a different class date will be determined (TBD for now).
New interns will only be admitted to the program in the months of March and September. Before being included in the interns program, all prospects need to attend an introduction class. These intro class will be held twice a year, on the last Saturday in February and August, from 9am to noon. Important: a special introduction class will be held on April 28, from 6-7pm. The first class for the Interns Program will begin on May 7, 2024. See the church calendar for more details.
Materials and Cost
We do not want finances to be the leading factor in deciding whether to do ministry or participate in the activities at Calvary Chapel Saint Paul. If this is the case for you, please reach out to your home fellowship leader.
The cost to attend the program is $150, and is non-refundable.
In addition, several books will be required reading during the class. We advise you to order these books ASAP if you plan to attend the class. Many people in the church have these books and you may be able to borrow them for purposes of this program. Ask around!
